When we bought our first house three years ago we knew it needed some work, but thanks to Lia and her team we've started 2023 in what feels like a brand new home. Our little 1960's weatherboard house has been modernised without losing it's 'Kiwi' character. A bright new open-plan kitchen/lounge, a seperate laundry, toilet, and bathroom, along with a master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. We had renovated a previous house ourselves and knew this would be a large job. We were attracted by the idea of having the work professionally project managed to ensure that it was done on time and to budget. We initially met Lia at a home show and were impressed enough to request a site meeting to talk through what we wanted done. After discussing our ideas with them and suggesting solutions, Lia and her team began putting together a design. Lia was excellent at preparing the initial quote, finding ways to fit the work we wanted done into our budget, and then overseeing the ongoing work with (construction manager) Milo. We were particularly impressed with her estimates as they were pretty much spot on…(She) was unfailingly polite and patient in her dealings with us and managed our expectations well. She also provided good advice about interior design.

I commissioned Lia and her team to do an extension at my property, I found Lia and her team to be very helpful, trustworthy and the quality of the work was of a very high standard. The organisation and communication was excellent, overall I'm extremely pleased with the whole project and the way it turned out. The house now looks very modern and the extension doesn't look like an extension, it looks as it is part of the house.

Lia is amazing. We had some renovation work done to our place 12 months ago. Throughout the process she was incredibly professional, and made sure our needs were met. During the lockdown recently, we noticed a leak in the ceiling (on a Friday night to make things worse). We emailed Lia, and within an hour we had roofers organised for the next day, and all covered under their warranty. We were incredibly impressed with this, and shows that the ongoing support will be there. It is one thing to have a good experience during the work, but to maintain this level after completion is on another level. If I could rate Lia and her team higher I would. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

It was clear what our wish-list was, but this didn’t always quite line up with our budget and Lia managed this very well  – we’ve just never learnt how to do that when we’ve tried to do it by ourselves.
Lia was very hands on right through from concept through to completion, including managing the drawings process, council approvals, liaising with suppliers, and offering knowledge on the selection of products.
There’s genuine complexity with some of this stuff, Lia was really good. Occasionally we’d make a call and say something’s not right, and she was nothing but proactive in owning the issue with us and making it right.
We were extremely pleased with the end result.

1. Tina, our Designer helped us make practical decisions about the layout and functionality of our bathrooms. She also recommended products when we didn’t have a clue what to get.

2. Danielle, our Project Manager was amazing. Her planning and management of the renovation meant we always knew what was going on and kept everything on schedule. Even when there were slight delays, they did not affect the overall timetable. The project started and finished on the exact days it was supposed to.

3. Communication was always clear and prompt. We got updates as the project progressed and questions were always answered.

4. The tradies we had in our house were all friendly, polite and extremely competent.

5. When I wanted a few extra jobs done around the place it was never a problem. The result was a stress-free renovation that is absolutely beautiful. Months on, I still get a thrill from using my bathroom and laundry. They have made such a difference. Thanks!
