Mark Hemmings - Thames-Coromandel Renovation Specialist
Mark prides himself on his ability to help people achieve their goals. With extensive coaching and training experience from his previous corporate roles in Australia and New Zealand, you can be certain he will work right alongside you to help you achieve your renovations goals for your Thames, Coromandel or Hauraki property.
Mark has a great deal of experience managing, leading and developing large teams. Motivating people to achieve the best results they can, both for themselves and the overall team, is what Mark excels at. Mark has a real knack for ensuring every member of his team remains focused on the project’s key objectives, while never losing sight of the detail needed to drive them. Achieving results through teamwork, drive and proactive behaviour is a key attribute of Mark’s way of getting things done.
Marked moved from Australia to New Zealand 15 years ago with his wife Jenny (she’s a Kiwi) and their twin babies. More specifically, Mark and the family moved from Melbourne to Tairua - straight to the Coromandel Peninsula. Even though (as Jenny describes it) Mark is an “import”, he loves living in New Zealand, he does support the All Blacks (it’s true) and calls Aotearoa home. Together, Mark and Jenny have renovated their own homes across Sydney, Melbourne and Tairua.
Where people would normally find issues, Mark’s approach to such things is all about opportunity. He believes in a creative approach to everything he does. Often the “tried and true” won’t do the job as it can limit potential. This approach, paired with a desire to deliver the extraordinary means you get his 100% commitment for your renovation project
Mark has twin children, both of which have chosen to pursue high-risk sports of showjumping and motocross. So he can often be found cheering on his family team, as they jump higher and go faster, from many an event around the country.
The Thames Coromandel region has been home since moving to New Zealand. However, as the needs of equestrian and motocross sports changed so too did home. Mark is now living on a 45-acre farm in the surrounding area offering wide open spaces, tramping and camping and some much sought-after serenity (when the dirt-bikes are in the shed).
Working with Mark on your next renovation, you can be certain he will do everything he can to turn your dream into a reality.
